Career Education and
Workforce Development Grants
The San Diego Workforce Funders Collaborative (SDWFC) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified respondents for Career Education and Workforce Development Grants, focusing on the key industry sectors of Health Care and Life Sciences/Biotechnology.
The SDWFC is a public/private coalition of philanthropic foundations, employers and public entities interested in expanding and coordinating funding for career education and workforce development efforts in San Diego County. Founded in 2006, the SDWFC is designed to strengthen and expand sectoral workforce development efforts and workforce partnerships in the San Diego area.
Those interested and qualified are invited to submit a proposal as instructed in the RFP.

Bidders Conference
An optional Bidders Conference will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the United Way of San Diego, at 4699 Murphy Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92123.

Q&A
Potential bidders may submit questions about the RFP by emailing questions to: SDWFC_RFP@workforce.org. All questions must be submitted in writing and received no later than 5:00 P.M. DST, Wednesday, June 18, 2008. The last day the Workforce Partnership will post answers to RFP questions will be Thursday, June 19, 2008.
Request for Qualifications
This form will be required for any proposer recommended to receive funds administered by the Workforce Partnership. It will be required prior to a finalized contract and fund distribution. Proposers may choose to complete and submit this form any time prior to that.
