RFP Information Page

The San Diego Workforce Partnership, Inc. (Workforce Partnership) is soliciting proposals from vendors who are interested in providing cost-effective, quality after-hours security patrol services for the Workforce Partnership's Metro Career Center. 

The contract will include one unarmed patrol/security guard to be stationed on site during off-business hours, 24 hours a day on weekends, and 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. during the week.

The security guard will be responsible for continuously patrolling the building perimeter, all four floors of the building, and the three upper floors of the adjacent parking structure for unauthorized activities, vandalism, loitering, etc., assuring the building and parking garage remain safe and secure.  Teh contract shall be for twelve months, July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009, with two twelve-month options for the Workforce Partnership to renew.

An Optional Bidder's Conference will be held at 11 a.m.., Friday, May 2, 2008, at the address given above.  Questions and Answers from the conference will be posted here.
Additional questions will be accepted in writing via email, addressed to Jared@workforce.org until Monday, May 12, 2008, and answers will be posted HERE.

The Q&As will also be emailed to those known to have obtained the RFP and provided an email address.

The deadline for receipt of proposals is 3:00 p.m., PDT, Friday, May 16, 2008.  No proposals will be accepted after that time.
