San Diego County Healthcare Sector Studies
San Diego’s healthcare sector is a significant component of the regional economy. In 2004, approximately 81,000 people were employed in the sector – about 6 percent of all those employed in the county. The Workforce Partnership’s three healthcare publications provide information on the sector and its occupations, as well as recommendations on how to ensure that San Diego has the healthcare workforce it needs.
